Canada Greener Homes Initiative
Homeowners must provide proof of ownership and demonstrate the property is your primary residence. Indigenous governments and organizations who would like to retrofit a large number of homes that they own (e.g., community-scale) may submit a single application to streamline the registration process and access program funds through one funding agreement.

In an effort to help Canadians make their homes more energy efficient, The Canada Greener Homes Grant offers incentives to upgrade your insulation and make these changes more affordable. All homeowners in Canada are eligible regardless of where they live. Only one homeowner per home can register.
